Rail & Jib Design and Construction
Our rail and jib design process combines skilled fabrication, creative vision, and hands-on experience to deliver features that perform as well as they look. Using precise welding techniques and a deep understanding of terrain park dynamics, we build custom features that are durable, safe, and fun to ride.
We work with a wide range of materials, including steel, HDPE, wood, and composite surfaces, allowing for versatility in design and texture. Whether it’s classic handrails, progressive jibs, or unconventional features, each element is thoughtfully crafted to match the aesthetic and functional goals of the park.
In addition to in-shop fabrication, we offer full on-site construction services to ensure that each feature is installed properly and seamlessly integrated into the terrain. Our team also provides training and guidance for park crews, sharing best practices in maintenance, safety, and layout optimization to support long-term success.

Rail Transport & Installation
Over the years, we've refined the process of transporting and installing terrain park features into a smooth, efficient operation. Our approach to rail transport is based on real-world experience and a clear understanding of what works best in the field.

Finish Work
Dialing in rail and jib features requires a precise mix of snow cat work and detailed hand shaping to achieve both optimal rideability and clean aesthetics. While the cat is essential for building stable platforms, setting deck height, and establishing in-run and out-run grades, the finishing touches are all about the hand tools. We use rakes, chainsaws, shovels, and a keen eye to sculpt takeoffs, dial in sidewalls, and clean up around legs and feet—ensuring every feature sits perfectly level and securely in place.
The hand-finishing process also allows us to fine-tune transitions and landing zones for smooth hits and safe exits. Edges are crisp, snow is compacted evenly, and seams between the snow and steel are clean. This level of detail not only improves the way the feature rides but also enhances its visual impact. Riders appreciate when a rail line is built with intention and precision—it builds trust in the park and adds to the overall experience.
